5 Skincare Staples You NEED in Your Routine!

🔑SKINCARE ESSENTIALS YOU NEED IN YOUR SKINCARE ROUTINE🔑

Do you ever feel overwhelmed with so many products and recommendations that you don’t know what to use and when?! I used to feel the same way. So much so that I just didn’t do anything!

There are SO many people and products and sources telling you what to do that it gets to be TOO MUCH! But guess what, I have good news! It doesn’t have to be complicated!

Just go back to the BASICS! Too many products can be overwhelming for your skin too! Here are my 5 staples for a good skincare routine!

1️⃣SPF -

# 1 all day every day! If you had to choose one product to use for the rest of your life, this would be it! Why you ask?!

Because the SUN causes almost all of your skin issues! Aging, fine lines, wrinkles, hyperpigmentation, thinning, need I say more?!

Bottom line… WEAR IT! No matter what. Inside, outside, at work, at home, at the beach anywhere and everywhere!

2️⃣Tretinoin/Retinol -

The OG for anti-aging! This is what is going to help reverse the sun damage that we have accumulated! If you are over 30 you need to be incorporating this into your routine!

It helps cells turnover more quickly so that you can get rid of the damage! Also helps skin build and rebuild collagen. Helps with fine lines and wrinkles, hyperpigmentation, acne etc!

Start LOW and go SLOW!

3️⃣Vitamin C -

A powerhouse in combination with SPF! SPF blocks sun damage. Vitamin C helps protect from all the other damage that we encounter everyday. These also contribute to the aging process. Vit C neutralizes these free radicals as well as helps with brightening and gives you that GLOW!

4️⃣AHA/BHA- use these for exfoliation! They help to remove all the dead skin cells that accumulate! Giving you a glowing complexion as well as helping with skin turnover, acne, Milia etc! Use at least once a week!

5️⃣Hyaluronic Acid

Hydration is another key to good skincare and anti-aging! If you are dehydrated your skin will look more wrinkles and crepe! The more actives you use in your skincare routine, the drier your skin can be. Hydrated
